Organizational Design and Structure

In this Discussion, you will compare and contrast different organizational structures, identifying their key elements.

The textbook reviews common and newer organizational designs. Give them a review and then answer the following questions: 

• With regard to your current organization (or one with which you are familiar), which design structure is being used?
• Would you consider this same organization mechanistic, organic, or hybrid? 
• Do you believe this structure and design are effective given the product and the business environment? Why or why not?
• Explain and substantiate your answer. Provide relevant examples for support.
